The Moravian University 1742 Founders Scholarship will be awarded to students who have not completed any college level courses beyond high school. Incoming first-time freshman for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters will be considered for this scholarship. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.35 to 3.79. Admission scholarships are determined by Moravian University's Admissions Office. For application application, students must include the contact information of at least one recommender; this could be the student's school counselor, principal, another school official, or an 11th- or 12th-grade teacher. The university will reach out to them for a recommendation. Submission of essay is recommended but not required. The essay helps the university get to know a student better and connects the student with resources and opportunities that fit their interests. Submissions should be well written, but it doesn't need to necessarily be an "essay." Examples of topics include personal hardships or great accomplishments. It is also optional but students may also submit their Standardized Test Scores during admission application. It is preferred that admission applications be sent before March 15, 2026. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Office of Financial Aid Services at Moravian University for more information.
