The Bobcat Premier Transfer Scholarship is available to students with 15 transferable hours from a community college or a 4-year college/university. Awards will be for the fall and spring semesters. The Financial Aid and Scholarships office will award admitted transfers who meet the requirements. The scholarship can be renewed for a second year. Students enrolled in an online degree program are not eligible to receive institutional scholarships (National, Assured, Merit, or competitive departmental and college scholarships). The scholarships are guaranteed to all qualified residents and nonresidents (including international students) provided they are admitted to Texas State as a first-time transfer to the university and meet the scholarship qualifications prior to the start of their first semester. The admission application deadline for the Fall semester is February 15 (priority)/ July 15 (final), and the deadline for the Spring semester is November 15.
