Steve Besich committed much of his career to public service, including his role as Gila County Manager. The Steve Besich Scholarship Fund honors his legacy with scholarships for rural Arizona students whose families work hard for the future of their communities. Applicants must be dependents or grandchildren of Apache, Cochise, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, La Paz, Mohave, Navajo, Pinal, Santa Cruz, Yavapai county residents.
