The Eizo & Toyo Sakumoto Trust was established to promote the importance of higher education. Applicants must have been born in Hawai'i and be of Japanese ancestry. Preference will be given to graduate (post baccalaureate) degree-seeking students; students who attend a college or university in the State of Hawai'i; students who maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5; full-time students; and/or students who are of full-Japanese ancestry.
