The Window of Opportunity Scholarship provides a $1,000 award to individuals who are either graduating or have graduated from a high school in Gillespie County, or who have earned or are actively pursuing a GED in Blanco, Gillespie, Kendall, or Kerr counties. Applicants must be accepted for full-time enrollment at an accredited college, university, or trade school by December 31 of the award year. Selection is based on financial need and meeting eligibility criteria. Recipients may reapply for up to three consecutive years, provided they maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, with returning applicants considered equally alongside new candidates.
