The Makenna Lee Elrod Foundation Fund provides a $2,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from Uvalde High School who has attended Uvalde CISD for at least one full academic year. This one-time award supports students pursuing a degree or certification at an accredited college, university, trade, or vocational school. Selection is based on financial need and a demonstrated record of personal and academic achievement. To receive the scholarship, recipients must be accepted as full-time undergraduate students by December 31 of the award year.
