1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Higher Education Program provides financial assistance to qualified Choctaw tribal members actively pursuing a higher education degree at an accredited college or university. Applicants must be actively pursuing a higher education degree at an accredited institution. They must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours. The program is open to high school students (students in high school taking college courses). Concurrent high school students may receive an award for 8 total semesters; 6 full-time semesters for students pursuing an Associate degree; 12 full-time semesters (includes 6 full-time associate level semesters) for students pursuing a Bachelor's degree; 6 full-time semesters for students pursuing a Master's degree; and 4 full-time semesters for students pursuing a Doctoral degree with All but Dissertation (ABD) status. Renewing students must submit their student ID number documentation. High school students must also provide their current high school transcript and the W-9 form. There are three application periods for this program: August 1 - October 1 for Fall; January 2 - March 1 for Spring; and May 1 - June 15 for Summer.
