1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Each county fair (holding events for at least 3 days) may nominate one youth for the scholarship. Based on their completed applications, the scholarship committee will select two youth from each zone to receive the scholarship. Any youth that has participated in and has been an active volunteer of the current year in his or her respective local county fair are eligible to receive the Kentucky Association of Fairs & Horse Shows Youth Scholarship. Qualified youth shall be a senior in high school, or in their first year of post-secondary education, but not having reached their 21st birthday by October 1st of the applying year. The youth shall be a resident in the county of the nominating fair. Each application must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from the local fair board.
