The Office of Admissions awards initial merit-based scholarships following a holistic review process including consideration of a student's cumulative GPA, rigor of curriculum, and test scores (if submitted). A student's strengths in high school/college courses, leadership and service, and participation in extracurricular activities are also taken into consideration. The Alfred University Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is available to full-time transfer students who are currently members of PTK.
