The Alfred University Art Portfolio Scholarship is awarded to students who apply to the School of Art and Design based on the work submitted in the portfolio. Students must complete the admissions process and submit their portfolio by February 1 for first-year students and March 1 for transfer students. There is no separate application for this scholarship. As part of the admission requirements, students must submit an essay or personal statement, along with letters of recommendation.
