The Danish Sisterhood of America Past National Officers' Scholarship will be awarded to students who were selected as a concurrent Betty Hansen National Scholarship winner. They must be a Danish Sisterhood member in good standing for a minimum of one year prior to the scholarship deadline. For an applicant who has been out of high school for more than five years, they must submit any information that would be important as to their goal for further education. They must include information relating to classes, seminars, activities, etc. that would be beneficial in judging their scholarship application. Two, no more than three, letters of character reference must also be submitted with the completed application. For those who are employed, one letter must be from the applicant's employer and must include the average number of hours worked per week by the applicant.
