1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The NSHSS Community College or Trade School Scholarship will be awarded to NSHSS members graduating high school in 2025, 2026, 2027, or 2028 who are planning on or currently enrolled in a community college or trade school so they can pursue their goals. Many students are embarking on alternative paths after high school, from gap years volunteering abroad to two-year community colleges and trade schools. Community colleges and trade schools can offer many benefits, such as lower tuition, excellent educational opportunities in different majors, and specific training in vocational programs. Additionally, two-year programs can easily transfer to four-year programs later when students are more certain about the major/area of study they wish to pursue. Applicants must submit an educator recommendation letter. It is optional but students may submit pictures, videos or media showing their leadership in action. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the National Society of High School Scholars for more information.
