The Orel and Marie Winjum Memorial Scholarship was created to assist with college tuition costs for American citizens of Norwegian and/or German heritage. The scholarship will be awarded to students who will continue their studies in the United States. There is no college credit needed. Applicants must be undergraduate students and they may pursue any field of study. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation that address their character and abilities. One letter must address the influence the applicant's Norwegian and/or German heritage has had on their life.
