1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Lund Fund Scholarship offers up to $3,000 to support U.S. citizens aged 17 or older who are pursuing post-high school study abroad experiences. Eligible applicants must be enrolled or have applied to a recognized educational institution abroad, or to a study abroad program administered by an accredited U.S. college or university. The scholarship supports undergraduate study, Folk High School, or participation in the Oslo International Summer School (OISS), regardless of field. Sons of Norway membership is not required. Selection is based on academic potential, financial need, and a personal essay that explores the applicant's educational goals, community involvement, and alignment with the Foundation's core values. Required materials include a short autobiography, transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and documentation of educational expenses. The award is for one academic year and excludes funding for prior room, board, or travel costs.
