The Doerfler Newport High School Scholarship is open to graduating seniors of Newport High School, as well as graduates of Newport High School who, within the past four years, have either been attending an Oregon college or have not yet attended college since graduating. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 if applying as high school seniors, or 2.50 if applying as college students. Financial need is a consideration, and filing the FAFSA or ORSAA is required. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
