The Doerfler Newport High School Scholarship may be awarded to graduating seniors of Newport High School; or graduates of Newport High School who, within the past four years have been either: (1) attending an Oregon college, or (2) have not yet attended college since high school graduation. High school senior applicants must have a GPA of 3.00 or higher; and college student applicants must have a GPA of 2.50 or higher. Students may apply-compete annually as this scholarship may be received for a maximum of 4 years. February 15 is the Early Bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all materials to be submitted to OSAC.
