The Arthur and Winifred E. M. James Memorial Scholarship is a one-time award available to graduating seniors of Benson High School with a minimum GPA of 3.00. Preference is given to applicants whose Activities Charts reflect participation in Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts. Eligible students must enroll full-time at any public or private nonprofit Title IV postsecondary institution in the United States. Financial need is a consideration, and applicants are required to file the FAFSA or ORSAA. Oregon residents or those attending an Oregon institution listed on the FAFSA will have their records automatically received by OSAC; others must upload pages 1 and 2 of their FAFSA Submission Summary for financial need consideration. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
