The Doyle and Donna Shepherd Scholarship is available to graduates of Cottage Grove High School who plan to enroll full-time at an Oregon institution. Preference is given first to students pursuing nursing, followed by other medical-related fields, and then any other major. Eligible colleges include Lane Community College, Oregon Health & Science University, other public institutions, and private institutions in Oregon. Financial need is considered, and applicants must submit the FAFSA or ORSAA. The scholarship may be applied for annually and can be received for a maximum of four years. Non-Oregon residents who do not list an Oregon institution on their FAFSA must upload pages 1 and 2 of their FAFSA Submission Summary to be considered. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
