The Tony & Alice Mattos Memorial Scholarship is a one-time $1,000 award for U.S. high school seniors who are official residents and planning to enroll in a junior college, four-year university, trade school, or business school. Eligible applicants must reside in the Sacramento or East Bay areas of California, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, and be active members of a Youth Council. They must also have demonstrated athletic excellence throughout all four years of high school. Individuals who are direct descendants, siblings, nieces, nephews, or first cousins of the donor are not eligible.
