1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Margaret M. Williams Memorial Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors of Josephine County public high schools who demonstrate a strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.25 and a commitment to pursuing a career in K-12 education or teaching. Eligible applicants must enroll full time at a Title IV eligible institution in the United States, including public community colleges, provided the student intends to complete a bachelor's degree, subject to committee confirmation, or four-year public or private nonprofit universities. FAFSA filing is recommended, and financial need may or may not be considered. Semifinalists may be interviewed and asked to provide references. The scholarship is automatically renewable for up to four years if renewal criteria are met, with new awards contingent on available funding. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
