1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Joy Zeller Johnson Memorial Scholarship is available to first-generation college students residing in Douglas County who are attending high school, including GED recipients and home-schooled students. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and enroll part time in an Oregon college, with at least six credit hours. Financial need is considered, and FAFSA or ORSAA filing is recommended. The scholarship may be renewable for one additional year if renewal criteria are met. Non-Oregon residents who do not list an Oregon institution on their FAFSA may optionally upload pages 1 and 2 of their FAFSA Submission Summary for financial need consideration. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
