1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The John Lamar Cooper Scholarship is awarded to graduates of accredited high schools in Hood River County who demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA or ORSAA. High school seniors must have a minimum GPA of 3.00, while college students must maintain at least a 2.50 GPA. Eligible applicants must be enrolled full time at an Oregon institution. The scholarship is awarded through an annual competitive process and may be received for up to four years. U.S. Bank employees, their children, and near relatives are not eligible. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
