1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Dr. Laurel Salton Clark Memorial Graduate & Professional Research Fellowship honors Columbia Shuttle astronaut and Wisconsin native Dr. Laurel Clark. It supports graduate or professional students in environmental or life sciences whose research has an aerospace component and who embody Dr. Clark's commitment to leadership, balance, and improving the human condition. Applicants may be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national. They must be enrolled in, or admitted or applied to a graduate or professional degree program at a WSGC member college or university. Applicants must provide above-average GRE, MCAT, or equivalent standardized test scores. They must also demonstrate strong academic performance and aerospace-related research potential. Applicants must submit a proposal that includes a statement of space/aerospace-related research and alignment with NASA Mission Directorates goals; tasks, schedule, and expected results; evidence of prior aerospace/space-related experience; and significance/value of research to the field. Applicants must also submit their academic resume and graduate and undergraduate transcripts. The Spring 2026 application opens on September 1, 2025 and closes on October 13, 2025.
