The Alan B. Holmes Memorial Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from Jackson County high schools who plan to pursue full-time undergraduate study at any Title IV-eligible college or university in the United States. Preference is given to students who demonstrate a passion for golf through participation in school teams or programs sponsored by clubs or other organizations. Financial need is not considered, and FAFSA or ORSAA filing is not required. Applicants must submit a one-page essay describing the contribution golf has made to their personal development. The scholarship is automatically renewable for up to four years upon completion of the annual renewal application. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
