The Weller Family Scholarship is available to students who are currently in or have previously been in foster care. First preference is given to graduates of Lincoln County high schools, and second preference to graduates from coastal communities in Clatsop, Coos, Curry, Douglas, Lane, or Tillamook County who have not yet attended college. Applicants should have a GPA of 3.00 or higher and must enroll at least half time at an Oregon two-year public institution. Financial need is considered, and FAFSA filing is required. Applicants must submit a copy of their Ward of Court document. The scholarship may be received for one additional year through a competitive reapplication process. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
