1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
180 Medical is proud to present a caregiver scholarship opportunity for college students. 180 Medical often speaks with caregivers and witnesses their compassionate care despite the challenges and financial hardships that sometimes go hand-in-hand with caregiving. In honor of caregivers, 180 Medical created the Ron Howell Caregiver College Scholarship Award as a way to give back. To be eligible to apply, students must be the primary unpaid caregiver for a family member or loved one with a chronic disability or medical condition requiring in-home care. They must be planning to attend college in the United States as legal residents for their Associate's, undergraduate, or graduate degree in the fall of the year of application. Paid caregivers (nurses, nurse's aides, home health workers, nursing home workers, etc.) or students currently in medical school or nursing are not eligible to apply. In the application, applicants must list their extracurricular activities (sports, community, employment, etc.) from the last two years; and also list any significant awards or honors they have received during the last two years for academic or extracurricular achievements. Applicants must also submit an essay or video essay, telling their story, who they are caring for (family member or another close loved one), an explanation of their responsibilities as primary unpaid caregiver, and how the role as a caregiver has impacted their life so far as well as their future career goals. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact 180 Medical, Inc. for more information.
