1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Edward O. Fritts Award will be awarded to students for study in any electronic media area. Scholarships are awarded to students at BEA member institutions. The college or university needs to be a member of BEA. Individual student membership is not required to receive a scholarship. Students at two-year institutions who are transferring to BEA four-year colleges and universities are eligible to apply for all undergraduate scholarships. Applicants should be able to show substantial evidence of superior academic performance and potential to become an outstanding electronic media professional. There should be compelling evidence that the applicant possesses high integrity and a well-articulated sense of personal and professional responsibility. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. At least one letter must be written by a college or university electronic media professor and the other may be from either a professor or an industry professional. Current scholarship holders are not eligible to reapply in the year following their award. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Broadcast Education Association for more information.
