The Rezvan Foundation for Excellence is a 501(c)3 public non-profit organization, heavily dependent on fundraising. Funding of awarded scholarships, including annual renewals of awarded scholarships, is conditioned upon the availability of funds as determined by The Rezvan Foundation Board of Directors. In light of this, and to be prudent, Scholarship Awardees should not rely on full funding, but should reasonably expect receipt of awarded scholarship funds to the extent that those funds are available as determined by the Board, and to the extent that all applicable requirements are met. The amount of scholarship awarded will vary based on the university the scholarship recipient attends, as well as any other grants, awards or financial aid the recipient receives, and shall be determined by the Rezvan Foundation Board of Directors. The scholarship award may, but need not, be renewed annually by the Rezvan Foundation Board of Directors. No person shall be granted a scholarship for more than five academic years total, or over the course of more than six years. The scholarship Awardee: is in her/his final year of high school, has applied to at least one four-year accredited university, and will begin university in the academic year immediately following high school graduation; maintains an annual GPA of 3.0 or higher at the four-year university s/he attends; has no disciplinary record (academic or criminal); abides by The Rezvan Foundation Terms and Conditions and Rezvan Foundation Guidelines, including as they may vary over time. The Applicant: is a minor now or formerly in foster care; a minor who has one or more parent who has passed away; or a minor who has been adopted after time spent in foster care, is a U.S. resident, is currently enrolled in an accredited high school, has a GPA of 3.5 or higher, has submitted applications to one or more four-year accredited university/-ies, has no disciplinary record (academic or criminal). Please submit a short video statement (one to three minutes long) as an attachment along with your completed application to info@rezvanfoundation.com. Your video statement should explain what being a Rezvan Foundation scholarship recipient would mean to you, but may also include any other information you believe would help The Rezvan Foundation evaluate your candidacy. Please email completed application and video submissions to: info@rezvanfoundation.com. Application form can be downloaded from scholarship site.
