1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Asbestos Scholarship by Environmental Litigation Group, P.C. was established over 50 years ago with the purpose of providing financial help to children and grandchildren of the firm's clients whose asbestos litigation cases had been settled. In 2005, the eligibility requirements was extended to include all students who have a family member diagnosed with cancer. Applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. based accredited two-year or four-year university, community college or junior college, or a graduate degree program. They must be a student who witnessed a parent, sibling, immediate family member or close friend fighting cancer. All entries will be reviewed by the staff at the Environmental Litigation Group P.C. once the deadline passes. The essays will be reviewed and noted according to the student's passion and creativity.
