The Helen Laughlin AM Mode Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to those with a General Class License or higher. Preference is given to residents of Texas. If no qualified applicant is identified, preference will be given to residents of Arkansas. If no qualified applicant is identified, preference will be given to residents of the ARRL West Gulf (Texas, Oklahoma) or Delta (Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee) Divisions. Applicants may be pursuing any field of study in a four-year college or university. Preference is given to women Amateur Radio operators who are performing at a high academic level.
