1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
A Past Grand Prytanis and past chairman of the TKE Foundation, Lenwood S. Cochran was initiated a Teke at Gamma-Mu Chapter at Furman University. First serving as a Chapter Advisor, he was elected to the Grand Council in 1959, serving as Grand Prytanis from 1971-73. The Grand Knights of the Knights of Apollo, Frater Cochran is a recipient of the Order of the Golden Eagle and Foundation Medal of Excellence. He is a Life Loyal Teke. The Lenwood S. Cochran Scholarship is awarded in recognition of academic achievement to a member and recognizes outstanding leadership within the chapter, including holding office. Preference will first be given to a member of the Sigma-Psi and Gamma-Mu chapters, but if there is no qualified applicant, the scholarship will be open to any other qualified Teke. All of the TKE Foundation leadership and scholarship awards are for the benefit of active collegiate members of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, as of March 15, as defined by The Black Book Article VI Section 2 unless otherwise specified.
