1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Oregon Albacore Commission Scholarship supports individuals directly connected to Oregon's albacore tuna industry, including commercially licensed permit holders, their captains, employees, and dependents, as well as processors and their families - provided they have paid assessments to the Commission within the past year. Applicants must enroll at least half time in a postsecondary program and submit the FAFSA, though financial need may or may not influence selection. The scholarship may be renewed for one additional year, reflecting the Commission's commitment to investing in the educational advancement of those contributing to Oregon's albacore sector. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion for more information.
