1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Hagley Exploratory Research Grants support one-week visits by scholars who believe that their project will benefit from Hagley research collections, but need the opportunity to explore them on-site to determine if a Henry Belin du Pont research grant application is warranted. Priority will be given to junior scholars with innovative projects that seek to expand on existing scholarship. Proposals must demonstrate which Hagley collections might be pertinent to the project. Applicants should reside more than 50 miles from Hagley, and the stipend is $400. Low-cost accommodations on Hagley's grounds are available on a first-come, first serve basis. Researchers who use this housing are strongly encouraged to have a car available for transportation during their residency. All application materials must be submitted in the following order in one PDF file through the online application link as indicated: Project abstract; Curriculum Vitae; Project description indicating the scope of the research and the existing scholarship with which they engage; and Summary of the Hagley research materials that the applicant plans to consult during their residency and how they believe that they may be pertinent to their project. Application deadlines are March 31, June 30 and October 31. Please visit the award's website for more information.
