1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Dwayne R. Woerpel Leadership Scholarship was established in honor of Dwayne R. Woerpel, who was initiated a Teke and founding member of Iota-Alpha Chapter of TKE at the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 1962. A Knight of Apollo, he served on the TKE staff in several positions, including administrator of alumni services and Foundation activity, and was instrumental in the establishment of the TKE Leadership Academy. This scholarship was established by family and friends to honor Frater Duwe's lifelong dedication to TKE. The Dwayne R. Woerpel Leadership Scholarship is awarded in recognition of academic achievement to a member and recognizes outstanding leadership within the Fraternity and in civic and religious communities. Preference will first be given to a graduate of the TKE Leadership Academy, but if there is no qualified applicant, the scholarship will be open to any other qualified Teke. All of the TKE Foundation leadership and scholarship awards are for the benefit of active collegiate members of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, as of March 15, as defined by The Black Book Article VI Section 2 unless otherwise specified. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Tau Kappa Epsilon Educational Foundation for more information.
