1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
May T. Henry was a pioneer Oklahoma educator who believed no student should be deprived of quality education due to the lack of finances. For this reason, May established the scholarship fund which now bears her name. Each scholarship is granted directly to the student upon evidence of enrollment in an eligible institution. The scholarship may be renewed annually for a maximum of four years. Any student entering any field of study is eligible for the May T. Henry Scholarship. The student must plan to attend a college, university or technical school supported by the state of Oklahoma. The student must have graduated from an accredited high school or equivalent institution. They must not be related to any member of the selection committee. Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation, one of them should be from a teacher.
