The ESA Distinguished Achievement Award in Extension recognizes one individual annually who has made outstanding contributions in the field of extension work. Through their dedication and expertise, they have positively influenced the field of entomology and made a significant difference in addressing entomology-related challenges. The nominee must have demonstrated excellent performance through program creativity, impact, achievement, and delivery. Only nominations from ESA Branches are accepted for the ESA Distinguished Achievement Award in Extension. Each Branch is limited to one nomination per year. Nominators must provide a CV which includes the Background Information Section, Extension or Outreach Section, and Service. Applicants must submit up to two letters of nomination or endorsement from professional colleagues and clientele.
