1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The GFWC MA Art Scholarship will be awarded for undergraduate study. Applicants must submit a personal statement of not more than 500 words. The word count must be included on the statement. Applicants must also submit an original letter of reference from a high school teacher, academic advisor, or college professor on school letterhead. Applicants may submit a traditional art portfolio, which may include three different examples of 2D artwork in three different mediums (for example: Oils, Acrylic, Watercolor, Photography, etc.) matted, not framed. Applicants must print their name and address on the back of each example and on the portfolio. Applicants may also submit a digital arts version portfolio, which may include their photographed works and must be saved as JPEGs. All work must be sent by email for printout. They must submit one photo for 2D work and up to two photos for 3D work. A copy of the applicant's Massachusetts Driver's License or High School ID is also required.
