1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The ABF Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program allows undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds who are considering careers in the field of law or social science to gain a hands-on learning experience for eight weeks during the summer. Students with a keen interest in pursuing post-graduate research or advancing toward a PhD are especially encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates from groups that are underrepresented in the fields of law and social science, including but not limited to first-generation and low-income students and students of color. All Fellows will participate in the program 35 hours a week in our Chicago, IL, office on a hybrid schedule. Applications will be considered only from students currently enrolled at colleges and universities in the United States. Students must have completed at least two years of their undergraduate program and must not have received a bachelor's degree by the time the fellowship begins.
