1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Whether you're a professional writer, a part-time freelancer or a self-starting student, you have a chance to enter the premier self-published competition exclusively for self-published books. Applicants may select the category that best represents their entry: Mainstream or Literary Fiction, Genre Fiction, Nonfiction or Reference, Inspirational or Self-Help, Memoirs or Life Stories, Early Readers or Children's Picture books, and Middle-Grade or Young Adult. Entrants must send a printed and bound book. The competition is open to all English-language self-published books for which the authors have paid the full cost of publication, or the cost of printing has been paid for by a grant or as part of a prize. All books published or revised and reprinted between 2020 and 2025 are eligible. Entries will be evaluated on content, writing quality and overall quality of production and appearance. The Early-Bird deadline is April 1, 2025. First entry costs $100 and each additional entry is $85. The final deadline is May 1, 2025. First entry costs $125 and each additional entry is $110.
