The New Mexico Competitive Scholarship was created to encourage out-of-state students who have demonstrated high academic achievement in high school to enroll in eligible institutions of higher education. Applicants may be non-residents or non-citizens of the United States. Students must meet certain high school GPA and ACT score requirements. Students shall contact their institution's financial aid office for eligibility period. Students shall apply at the eligible institution they will be attending.
