The Canadian Federation of University Women Memorial Fellowship will be awarded to a woman enrolled in studies at the Master's level in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), in Canada or abroad. Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada; or have proof of status as a Protected Person from Immigration and Citizenship Canada. Applicants must have enrolled or have been accepted to a Master's or Doctoral program, at an accredited university, for the 2026-2027 academic year, and be graduating spring 2027 or later. Proof of registration will be required at time of application, transcripts will not be accepted. Applicants who have not yet started their program may submit a letter of acceptance instead. Applicants must also submit two referee assessment forms. At least one of these assessments must be completed by an academic reference. The second assessment can be either from an academic reference or from a person familiar with the applicant's personal history.
