1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The AES Hawaii Scholarship Fund - Oahu was created in 2022 to provide scholarship grants in furtherance of post-secondary education. HCF requires applicants to be a resident of the State of Hawaii; demonstrate financial need; and be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. The donor requires applicants to be a student pursuing a degree that may include a focus on or leading to a career in sustainable or renewable energy; be a resident of the Island of Oahu; and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Preference will be given to those who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing. The following preferences (in order of priority) shall aid in the selection of recipients should the need arise: residents of the AES Mountain View Solar (96792), Waiawa Phase 2 (96782, 96789, 96797), West Oahu (96706, 96707), and Na Pua Makani (96712, 96731, 96762).
