1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The CSLA Leadership for Diversity Classified Scholarship recognizes the need for classified school library staff who reflect the diversity of California's multicultural, multilingual population. Applicants must be from a traditionally underrepresented group (defined by ALA as American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Middle Eastern and North African, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander). Applicants must be a current CSLA member. Applicants must be working in a classified position in the library field. Applicants must also be enrolled in a community college program for school library technical service certification. Two letters of recommendation submitted on letterhead and a college transcript or other enrollment verification must be submitted. Accepted letters of recommendations may be written by current supervisor, course instructor, classroom teacher, or principal.
