Landau Associates, Inc. has established a scholarship program to support women in engineering programs in the Pacific Northwest in honor of esteemed former coworker and co-owner, Kris Hendrickson. Applicants to the Kristy J. Hendrickson Memorial Scholarship must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil-Environmental Engineering, Atmospheric Engineering, or Geologic Engineering. Assuming there are qualified applicants, preference will be given to applicants studying Environmental Engineering. Applicants may be high school seniors, high school graduates, current college undergraduates, or graduate level students. Applicants may reside in or attend school in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Louisiana, Texas or Florida. Children of Landau Associate employees are eligible but will not be given special consideration. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Awards may transfer from an undergraduate degree to a graduate degree if the student enrolls in graduate study the semester following undergraduate graduation. Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study only. Award recipients may be offered internship or career opportunities with Landau Associates.
