1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Harriet Fowler Brown/Kansas City Alumnae Chapter Scholarship will be awarded to sophomores, juniors, or seniors going directly to graduate school who are members of chapters in Kansas or chapters in Missouri or are residents of the Greater Kansas City area attending school anywhere in the US or Canada. Applicants must be initiated members, college and alumni, of Kappa Alpha Theta in good standing with the Fraternity. New members may apply, but ideally, should be initiated by the application deadline. Applicants must provide the contact information of their reference, who should be their current or former supervisor or mentor in an academic, community, professional, and/or Theta-related capacity. Ideally, the reference should be able to compellingly speak to the applicant's commitment to Kappa Alpha Theta's values; able to clearly articulate specific details about the applicant's accomplishments, goals, and character; and be more than just the applicant's social contact.
