The NEXT for AUTISM Fellows is a work-based scholarship program for health and human services students that combines tuition assistance with paid work experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) assisting neurodivergent adults. Pay starts at $16 per hour. Students will have the opportunity for annual scholarship increase, based on program retention. Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at a partner school and majoring in Health or Human Services, or a related field. Applicants must be graduating in 2027 or later, with at least two years to participate. Applicants must be ready to work 800 hours annually as a DSP and have an interest in supporting autistic adults. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
