The AHNA Service Award was established in 2014, and is intended to recognize and thank AHNA member(s) who consistently contribute their expertise and time to advance AHNA to its highest potential. Applicants must be an active member in AHNA with current volunteer contributions to AHNA. A nomination letter from an AHNA member with documentation of the candidate's service to AHNA is required. Applicants must be an active contributor to AHNA via serving in elected positions, committees, task forces, and other episodic contributing roles that create, improve, and/or sustain various aspects of the AHNA organization. The contributions must have facilitated the sustainability, growth, and success of AHNA. They must have demonstrated commitment to Holistic Nursing Practice and its philosophical base and demonstrated sustained commitment to AHNA's mission and goals.
