The Norman and Jean Persons Scholarship will be awarded to active or retired marine corps personnel or graduating high school seniors whose parent(s) is active or retired marine corps, and/or be young adults in San Diego County (to age 25) who are or had been in the foster care system. Applicants must plan to attend or are currently attending a two-year college, public four-year college/university, or licensed trade/vocational school in the United States at least part-time, preferably full-time.
