The The Samuel K. Beamon Scholarship is for students residing in the Greater Waterbury area, pursuing careers in law enforcement, a trade, or photography. Application is available to graduating high school seniors only. First-time applicants must have a FAFSA Student Aid Index (SAI) below $40,000. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer, clergy member, guidance counselor, or other community member who they think can best speak to their character, achievements, and potential.
