1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Kaech Scholarship will be awarded to graduates (including GED recipients, home-schooled graduates and current undergraduates) of public high schools in Portland. Applicants must major in music, with a preference for reed instruments. They must have participated in band or informal music activities. Students may attend any 2- or 4-year, public or private, nonprofit, Title IV, postsecondary school in the United States. University of Oregon is not eligible. Students may apply-compete annually as this scholarship may be received for a maximum of 4 years. Financial need is not a requirement but it will be considered, so FAFSA filing is recommended. February 15 is the Early Bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all materials to be submitted to OSAC.
