1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The H. Margaret Kolouch Scholarship is designed for first-generation college students who are not graduating high school seniors and who identify as female, trans men, or non-binary. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 and pursue a major in economics or mathematics, with career goals in accounting, actuarial science, engineering, math education, or scientific research. Eligible students must enroll at least half time at an Oregon public or nonprofit college. Filing the FAFSA is recommended, though financial need may or may not be considered. The scholarship is awarded through an annual competitive process and may be received for up to four years. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
